Since the founding of our organization, Station Stitchers has donated more than 5000 quilts to various under-served individuals within Loudoun County. This year, Station Stitchers impacted over 500 individuals, as well as the families around them. Since we work through other organizations, we never really see each individual recipient, but we hear anecdotally on the impact of our contribution. Families of hospital patients, foster care workers, etc. give us feedback on the depth of the response that a quilt can have on its recipient. They always come back for more and ask us to keep doing what we are doing.
